Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in Albany, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support the customer journey from store entrance to loading and delivery preparation. You’ll help load and unload, bin sofas, and prep dining tables for assembly, ensuring items move safely and efficiently.

You will work as part of a team committed to safety, quality, and excellent service. Prior experience with order pickers, electric pallet jacks, or inventory scanners is a plus; the role offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices and a neat, safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment (MHE).
• Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture up to 200 lbs.
• Safely lift furniture at heights of 30–40 feet on warehouse equipment.
• Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.

Responsibilities

• As a Warehouse Associate, support the lifecycle of customer purchases from store entry to loading/off-loading.
• Assist with loading, unloading, binning sofas, and prep of dining tables for assembly.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient warehouse by following procedures and teamwork.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in the lifecycle of every customer's purchase. Starting with what they see when they enter the building. From the parking lot. To every trailer you load/off-load, each sofa you bin, to the dining tables you've prepped for assembly. You are a key part of helping every customer turn their house into a home.

What We Need From You

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices, promoting awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including but not limited to order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
• Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30-40 feet above ground.
• Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.
