Responsibilities:

1. Create a safe work environment while ensuring quality workmanship, meeting delivery schedules, and reducing costs.
2. Help put people in proper positions and ensure employees are properly trained on a continuing basis.
3. Exhibit personal performance and attendance at the highest level.
4. Train and validate/certify manufacturing associates on safety, quality, and productivity.
5. Ensure employees are safe and trained properly for their work, both upon initial employment and ongoing.
6. Move manufacturing associates to balance line work.
7. Work with supervisors to remove bottlenecks.
8. Exhibit leadership related to rate and technical performance.
9. Be a working example to all team members.
10. Utilize root cause analysis to recognize problems and present solutions.
11. Align the team by balancing work cells with proper manpower to meet takt requirements.
12. Initiate actions for goal achievement and coordinate with the Production Supervisor as needed.
13. Assign tasks that allow team members to succeed.
14. Be available to answer technical questions and address concerns.
15. Work cross-functionally with other departments when needed.
16. Support onboarding of new employees.
17. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity in your area.
18. Maintain takt for your area.
19. Perform technical responsibilities timely.
20. Work with the Production Supervisor on Safety/Gemba walks and sustain 5S standards.
21. Ensure process sheets are followed and signed off.
22. Support new programs or projects.
23. Contribute to team efforts to produce quality products.
24. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
25. Act as a backup for the supervisor, including attending meetings and processing reports.
26. Work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
27. Work mandatory overtime as required.
