Job summary

Benjamin Steel Co is seeking a Warehouse Shift Leader to facilitate the warehouse function and ensure safe, efficient operations that meet customer expectations. The role involves leading staff, verifying loads, and coordinating shift processing schedules to maintain accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities include training teams, maintaining documentation for receiving, shipping, and stocking material, and ensuring a clean, safe warehouse environment with reliable attendance as a core

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years experience with warehousing, production, or other related leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational, math, logistical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehousing, material processing and product applications preferred.
• Proven ability to lead staff, maintain confidential information, successfully balance a variety of tasks, and represent the Company's best interest.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all incoming/outgoing loads for accuracy and reports quantity and condition to Superintendent.
• Accurately completes paperwork and documentation necessary to receive, ship and stock material.

• Performs other duties as related or assigned to benefit the Company.
• Assists Superintendent in maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
