Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Take-Off Associate for our Riverside, NJ Distribution Center. You will remove completed cartons from the conveyor, palletize, wrap, and stage pallets for loading.

Eligible candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, read shipping labels, and work overtime as needed. Familiarity with low rider operation is preferred, and a High School diploma is preferred.

Duties:

• Take completed cartons off of conveyor
• Palletize cartons
• Wrap cartons onto pallet
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Stage pallets on shipping dock
• Floor load trailers
• Operate low rider
• Other duties as assigned
