Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc. is seeking an Assembly/Machine Operator to support efficient assembly and packing of products. The role involves staging loads, receiving materials, and organizing storage to ensure on-time shipments.

Responsibilities include following standardized work, entering production data, and maintaining quality through 5S and EMS adherence. Shifts include Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM and Monday-Friday 5AM-1PM, with up to 40 hours plus overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and twist for up to 10 hours
• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Excellent reading, writing, math and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

• Staging loads for shipment and loading trucks
• Receiving raw materials and returnable containers
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment
• Enter counts and paperwork for inventory control and scheduling
• Willingness to learn basic computer tasks related to shipment and customer communications
• Maintain 5S and safety practices
• Follow policies and procedures of the company including EMS
• Complete production, scrap and downtime documentation
• Rework defective parts as needed
• Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM and Monday-Friday 5AM-1PM shifts

Job description

SPECIAL SKILLS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for staging loads for shipment.
• Receiving of raw material and returnable containers.
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Entry of count point and receiving paperwork for the control of inventory and scheduling.
• Willingness to learn basic computer basic tasks pertaining to the shipment of goods to the customer including electronic communications to customer
• Responsible for loading trucks to meet the customer’s requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Housekeeping/5S; ongoing safety initiatives
• Upholding processes and procedures as defined by supervision
• Organization of empty containers in storage
• Ability to use copier/scanner and barcode scanner
• Responsible to take care of components, cardboard, fiber and put in the correct location on the plant floor
• Help with monthly and yearly inventory

• Required to haul empty containers outside of the facility and keep area cleaned

Monday-Friday 5a-1p
