Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Warehouse Specialist in Glenwillow, OH. The role offers 7:00 AM–4:00 PM first shift hours with potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.

You will operate sit-down, stand-up, or propane forklifts, load/unload trucks, move inventory, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Forklift certification preferred; must pass an on-site equipment evaluation if required.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or shipping paperwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or propane forklifts safely throughout the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled properly.
• Move pallets, raw materials, finished products, and inventory to designated locations.
• Pick, prepare, and verify customer orders for shipment.
• Stage materials and finished products for scheduled shipments.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments.
• Inspect forklifts, pallets, and loads before use.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production team members.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience with sit-down, stand-up, or propane forklifts.
• Forklift certification preferred; must be able to pass an on-site equipment evaluation if required.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or shipping paperwork is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors and repeatedly get on and off equipment during an 8–10-hour shift.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and attention to safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, truck drivers, and coworkers.
• Willingness to follow site safety rules and mobile phone policies.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
