Job summary

Allegiance Industries is seeking a Scrubber Operator (Floor Tech) for 1st shift in Kinston, NC. The role includes steam-cleaning carpets, floor stripping, waxing, sealing, and deep cleaning to maintain clean, safe facilities.

We offer on-the-job training and expect candidates to follow schedules, demonstrate professionalism, and communicate safety concerns. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with the opportunity to contribute to a reliable, well-maintained workspace.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Physical stamina and dexterity are needed.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to follow schedules and directions from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors with proper machinery.
• Apply wax and buff floors.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors with chemicals/degreasers.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean surfaces.
• Collect and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for you to…

• Steam-clean carpets
• Strip the floor using the proper machinery
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Apply sealant to floors
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Move heavy equipment and furniture
• Other duties as assigned
