Job summary

Cloverleaf Local Schools in Lodi, Ohio seeks an Anticipated Custodian for the 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm) to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment. The role supports classrooms, gym, auditorium, and facilities, with responsibility for general upkeep and timely reporting of repairs.

Starting immediately, this full-time position requires the ability to read operating instructions and to handle cleaning, maintenance, and snow removal tasks as part of a collaborative district team

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read basic operating and work schedule instructions
• Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate

Responsibilities

• Maintain classrooms and other areas in the cleanest condition possible.
• Maintain restrooms and locker rooms in sanitary condition.
• Assist with painting and repairs to the buildings.
• Report repairs in writing to supervisor.
• Maintain and use supplies and equipment as directed.
• Order supplies through the head custodian in writing.
• Help maintain school grounds and snow/ice removal.
• Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of the building.
