Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, IN is seeking a Roller Assembler to complete assembly and packaging per established procedures, read drawings, and ensure quality. The role requires following supervisor instructions and recording status in the computer.

You will inspect your own work, use hand and power tools, adhere to safety rules, and support continuous improvement on the production line. Full-time, 1st shift, M-F, 5:00am-1:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Team-oriented.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Follow supervisors' work instructions.
• Self-inspect completed work for quality and conformance.
• Record assembly status using computer systems.
• Follow safety instructions and rules.
• Work overtime and different shifts as needed.
• Comply with Daifuku QMS policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement to deliver best-in-class performance.
