Job summary

Leadpoint is hiring General Laborer / Sorter in Lawrence, KS. This entry-level position sorts recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant, with no diploma or prior experience required.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm. You’ll be paid $16.50 per hour, with benefits after 60 days, PPE provided, and weekly pay. Applicants must be at least 18, able to lift 25 pounds, and willing to pass a background check and drug screen. Transportation options are available.

General Labor, Sorter, Entry Level – We’re immediately hiring General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Lawrence , KS.

Sorting recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean.

This position does not require a resume, a candidate's ability to follow directions and the results of the realistic job preview will determine if we consider moving forward in candidacy for a future or present full-time position. Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm

As a full-time General Laborer / Sorter, you’ll earn $16.50 per hour. Plus, as a General Laborer / Sorter at Leadpoint, you’ll enjoy perks that include:

Prior warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus, but not required. We need reliable, detail and safety-oriented Sorters who:

• Are at least 18 years of age or older
• Can lift up to 25 pounds, as needed, and stand for your entire shift.

• Have reliable transportation to get to work although many of our facilities are located near a bus line. We also promote carpooling and ride sharing.
