Job summary

Premier ProduceOne, a dedicated produce distributor in Columbus, OH, is seeking a hands-on first shift receiving associate for our warehouse team. You will verify deliveries, scan and label products, and ensure accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

No forklift license required; you will operate pallet jacks, use RF scanners and our WMS to keep receiving and inventory precise. We value reliability, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics or inventory preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries using RF scanning systems, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Accurately count, label, and scan product into inventory, ensuring all items are scanned away by end of shift.
• Utilize WMS to manage accurate receiving/shipping, warehouse transfers, inventory adjustments, and track load arrivals.
• Review and process receiving documentation including bills of lading (BOLs) and purchase orders (POs).
• Communicate effectively with team and various departments.
• Safely unload and reload trucks using pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts while adhering to operational procedures.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, contributing to end-of-day responsibilities and overall efficiency.
• Support operational excellence by following company policies, food safety and workplace safety standards.
