Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Northlake, TX is seeking a 1st shift team member to operate resistance spot welders and power press equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications. You will follow the Quality Policy, log non-conformances, perform housekeeping, and support continuous improvement while working with safety and team standards.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour and overtime/weekend hours may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press equipment to weld, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp stock.
• Understand and explain the Quality Policy and how this role affects customer satisfaction.
• Identify and document non-conformances within the Quality Management System and participate in corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean machines and work areas; ensure correct parts are loaded and tracked.
