Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator for its Irving, TX plant. The role involves loading component parts into automated assembly, recording production, labeling, and packing per instructions while maintaining quality standards.

You will use PLEX to load inventory, document issues, and escalate any down machinery or defective parts. This 1st shift position supports continuous improvement and requires strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ and able to stand 8–10 hours.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform duties.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and defect detection.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load inventory to the cell using PLEX and document production.
• Assemble parts, label, and pack per instructions.
• Escalate down machinery and non-conforming parts to leaders.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Support audits and participate in quality improvements.
• Cross-train on various work centers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
