Job summary

Schattdecor is seeking a 3rd Press Operator assistant to help keep the printing press running smoothly on a production line. You will support the operator with loading, splicing, cleaning, and data entry in BDE/SAP systems as part of a team on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. Color vision and physical stamina are also important for long shifts in production.

Responsibilities

• Package printed product at rewinder station.
• Splice new base paper rolls at unwinder station.
• Clean equipment and keep press area organized.
• Enter finished product data into BDE/SAP systems.
• Drive a forklift to move rolls and materials.
• Assist team members with printing operations and upkeep of the press.
• Maintain safety and recycling rules; perform other duties as assigned.
