Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Huntington, IN is seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. You will inspect powder-coated parts, pick orders, pack, label, and help ensure on-time shipments.

This first shift position runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday, at $16 per hour. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Steel toes required; HSD/GED preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable with a consistent attendance record.
• Follow instructions and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts coming off the powder coat line for quality and consistency.
• Pick orders accurately according to work orders/pick lists.
• Pack parts securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Label parts and packages correctly for shipment.
• Verify shipments are complete and accurate before they go out.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

1st Shift Picker/Packer Pro Resources has partnered with a precision sheet metal and fabrication company in Huntington that specializes in CNC stamping and machining, robotic welding, tube bending, and full-service standard and/or specialty coatings capabilities.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for inspecting powder-coated parts, picking orders, packing, labeling, and ensuring parts are shipped accurately and on time.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F
Pay: $16 per hour
