Job summary

Woodward's Loves Park, Illinois campus is seeking a proactive Operations Supervisor for 1st shift (M-F 6:30–3:00) to lead front-line teams toward daily production goals and operational excellence.

You will supervise, allocate resources, drive performance, coach staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve the production system while benefiting from a broad total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline production teams.
• Strong process improvement mindset and lean practices.
• Ability to analyze production data and report trends.

Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Provide direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
• Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.
• Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
• Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.
