Job summary

A World Leading Ink Manufacturing Company is seeking 1st Shift MILL Operators for a full-time role with an evaluation-to-hire path and room for advancement. The starting pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include safe mill operation, batch processing, quality checks, and packaging compliance. Forklift experience and SAP familiarity are helpful; Lean principles knowledge is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Tends mills safely to grind raw materials for ink production.
• Processes ink batches at proper mill settings per supervisor and QC.
• Follows quality requirements and testing procedures.
• Follows packaging requirements with proper labeling.
• Must not leave mill unattended; notify supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Hours:

Monday- Friday: 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm (overtime required when available)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Uses personal protective equipment, if required.
• Tends mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind raw materials for manufacturing of high quality printing ink by performing any or all duties as directed.
• Processes batches of ink at proper mill settings, as directed by the Supervisor and Quality Control as to grinding and canning requirements, specifically following instructions regarding additions and asking the supervisor for assistance when necessary.
• Follows all Quality requirements and testing procedures.
• Follows all required packaging requirements with proper labeling.
• Must not leave mill unattended without notifying supervisor.
• Must be able to life 50lbs.
