Conagra Brands, Marshall, Missouri, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on-site. You will support production by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment reliability across multiple shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of mechanic experience, and vocational machine maintenance training, with English literacy and basic math for documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Vocational technical training in machine maintenance.
• Electrical experience.
• Read and write English to complete production and quality documentation.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
• Familiarity with basic shop equipment, electric arc welders, plasma cutters, torches, and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and components on plant and production equipment.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to support continuous production operations.
• Use equipment manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, and parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to install, repair, rebuild, replace, and test equipment and components.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
• Complete welding, electrical, and fabrication work as needed.
• Work extended shifts and overtime, including weekends, based on business needs.
