Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Ambridge, PA is seeking a Material Handler to staff the 1st Shift in a busy warehouse. You will load and unload material, moving items with hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, and related equipment.

Ideal candidates can read a tape measure, operate multiple material-handling tools, and work to quality standards for internal and external customers. Overtime is possible; background check and drug test may be required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Responsible for providing high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material in a warehouse setting.
• Move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, or other handling equipment.
• Ensure accurate handling and storage of materials according to guidelines.
