Fortress Nutrition, LLC is hiring a 1st Shift Material Handler for our Wisconsin warehouse. The role requires 2+ years of material handling experience, including stand-up reach truck, and strong organizational and communication skills.

You will manage inventory, prepare shipments, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Typical shift is 1st shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekends as production demands dictate.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years material handling experience preferred (stand-up reach truck).
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word) and strong organizational abilities.
Able to meet production standards and follow work instructions.
Punctual, reliable with strong work ethic and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory by labeling and locating materials and supplies.
Pull and verify materials on production orders.
Deliver and open materials at work centers to maintain in-process inventory.
Stack and store products safely in designated areas.
Document material dispositions and shipments accurately.
Assist with receiving credit-return material and preparing finished stock for shipment.
Perform pre-use inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
Adhere to OSHA, FDA, and GMP standards and maintain a clean work area.

Fortress Nutrition is actively hiring for a 1st Shift Material Handler to work in our Warehouse.

The right candidate will have previous experience in Material Handling in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry, previous experience with Stand-Up Forklift Equipment and Cherry Picker experience and stable work history with previous employers.

Work Schedule:

Training Hours:

1st Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm - Monday-Friday (not eligible for OT until trained, once trained OT and weekends are mandatory based on production schedule)

Standard Hours:

1st Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday; OT and Weekends (mandatory based on production schedule)

What You'll Do:

Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Efficiently stack and safely stores products in their designated area.
Document material and supply disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Document product shipments by recording units shipped.
Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Comply with OSHA standards; Learn and adhere to FDA and GMP standards.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

What We're Looking For:
