Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Pendleton area is seeking a full-time CDL A route driver. You will deliver products to customers, invoice and collect payments, and obtain proof of delivery while providing basic customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, using a forklift and pallet jack, and navigating a busy route. Overtime may be required in the summer, with a 6am–6pm schedule, Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must have a current/valid driver’s license.
• Must have a DOT card.
• Must maintain a medical certificate.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must possess a driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards.
• Previous route delivery driver experience required.

Responsibilities

• Visit established accounts and deliver products to customers.
• Invoice, collect payment, and obtain proof of delivery.
• Provide basic customer service at customer locations.
• Load, unload, and rotate products in merchandisers/ice boxes.
• Operate relevant equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

Company Description:

A local crane delivery company in the Pendleton area is looking for a Full time CDL A route driver.

Education & Experience Required:

• Must have a current/valid driver’s license.
• Must have a DOT card
• Must maintain a medical certificate
• Must pass drug screening
• Must possess a driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
• Previous experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required

Education & Experience Preferred:

• Previous route delivery driver experience preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to drive in stressful environments.
• Must follow all DOT compliance rules and regulations.
• Required to use a forklift and pallet jack.
• Must load, unload, and rotate products in merchandisers/ice boxes.
• Required to clean, maintain, and relocate ice merchandisers.
• Be able to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day.
• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Required to work Weekend and holiday's
• Trucks will be required to visit established accounts, including gas stations, grocery stores, and other customers, frequently driving between customers and the plant location. Upon arriving at the customer location, drivers are responsible for delivering the product, invoicing, collecting payment, obtaining proof of delivery, and basic customer service.
• Overtime will be required during the busy summer season.
• Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Pay:

• $20-25 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• 6am-6pm
