Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. in West Virginia is hiring for a 1st shift janitor at our manufacturing facility. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, on-site to maintain clean and safe premises and support daily operations.

You will sweep, vacuum, mop floors, empty trash, service restrooms and canteens, mix cleaning agents as specified, move heavy items, and report repairs as needed. We value reliability, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors. and hand mopping
• Gather and empty trash
• Supply, clean and service restrooms and canteens
• Mix various cleaning agents according to specifications
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Possible floor work applicable (steam clean carpets, apply wax, buff, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
