Job summary

Staffing Support Specialists is seeking a Hardware Technician for 1st shift in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include assembling, troubleshooting and repairing steel poles up to 1" x 12', threading and tapping ends, welding handles, bending poles to spec, cutting wire, and terminating cables.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic MIG welding experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year manufacturing, machine shop or tools/fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Good measuring skills.
• Ability to use hand/power tools.
• Basic MIG welding experience.

1st shift: 6:00am -3:00pm (M-Th), 6:00am - 10:00am (F)

Pay: $21.00

Job Description

• Assemble, troubleshoot and repair steel poles up to 1\" x 12'
• Thread and tap one or both ends
• Weld handles, bend poles at proper position and angle
• Cut 4 core, 16 gauge wire to length,
• Stip and crimp wires to a connector or contact block, and run cable through pole
