Job summary

HES is seeking a General Cleaner for the 1st shift in Lake Worth, TX. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to keep facilities pristine, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and work areas.

The role requires reliable transport and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The position runs Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with fingerprint background checks and a strong emphasis on attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Experience in cleaning is a plus.
• Must be able to pass fingerprint background check.
• Physically capable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties to maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Remove trash and recycling; clean windows and surfaces as directed.
• Follow custodial supervisor instructions and safety procedures.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility General Cleaner Essential Functions Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
