Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company is seeking a Shipper/Palletizer in Las Vegas to support end-of-line shipping in a refrigerated environment. You will verify, palletize, stage, and prepare orders for outbound shipment, while maintaining inventory accuracy and complying with safety standards.

The role requires operating shipping systems, material handling equipment, and following GMPs and food-safety policies.

Competenze

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is in hyper-growth mode.

The Shipper/Palletizer is responsible for supporting end-of-line shipping operations in a refrigerated food production and fulfillment environment. This position ensures customer orders are accurately verified, palletized, staged, and prepared for outbound shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy, shipping quality, workplace safety, and compliance with company standards. The role utilizes shipping systems, material handling equipment, and established operating procedures to support efficient and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

The hours for 1st Shift are Monday through Friday 6AM to 2PM at $18.00/hour

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

• Prepare, verify, palletize, stage, and ship customer orders in accordance with company quality, food safety, and shipping standards


• Operate shipping systems and related technology to accurately process, verify, and support outbound shipments


• Perform shipping verification activities to ensure order accuracy, proper labeling, pallet integrity, and compliance with customer and company requirements


• Build, wrap, transport, and stage pallets using manual or powered material handling equipment in support of shipping operations


• Monitor shipping workflow, identify and resolve routine shipping discrepancies, and communicate exceptions, damaged product, or other issues to leadership in a timely manner


• Support efficient shipping operations by assisting with relabels, shipping corrections, order recovery, and maintaining organized staging and shipping areas


• Operates powered industrial equipment safely in accordance with company policy and OSHA requirements


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all food safety, sanitation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety policies


• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, quality, and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely customer shipments

Required Skills And Experience

• High school diploma or GED


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment


• Ability to safely perform material handling duties in a refrigerated warehouse or food production environment


• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize warehouse management and shipping systems


• Ability to accurately process shipping information while maintaining quality and productivity standards


• Ability to work safely around material handling equipment and follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements


• Regular, reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.


• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, if required

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Six (6) months of experience in warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, manufacturing, food production, or a related environment


• Experience operating manual pallet jacks and working in a high-volume shipping or distribution environment


• Experience using warehouse management, ERP, or shipping systems (e.g., ProShip, UPS, FedEx, or similar).
