Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Papillion, NE, is hiring a Forklift Operator for Liberty Packaging. You will safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a high-traffic facility, scan inventory, and prepare shipments for transport.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Omaha facility and requires overtime availability on weekends and holidays. You will move products, perform pre-operation inspections, use shrink wrap, and ensure accurate stock

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment or equivalent experience
• Basic computer skills: typing, printing, data entry
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, lift trucks, hoists or other material handling equipment in a high-traffic environment
• Accurately use electronic scanning on forklift touch screens to track inventory levels and locations
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report faults or damages
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate the shrink wrap machine
• Move product throughout the facility, including loading/unloading trailers
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
