Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Food Packer, Part-time, 1st Shift. This role supports a family culture with training and growth opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include assembling and packing orders, receiving products into the warehouse, verifying quantities and descriptions, and maintaining accurate inventories. You will follow safety procedures and report any concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• A family culture and atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
• Lift, carry or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food products.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation.
