Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve safety on the shop floor and maintain a safe, clean production environment.
• Ensure processing needs for fixtures, tooling and methods are provided.
• Meet production schedules and requirements.
• Determine priorities and sequence of jobs.
• Assess overtime needs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Produce products to meet quality standards while controlling costs.
• Order and distribute necessary parts and materials timely.
• Suggest changes to improve working conditions and equipment efficiency.
• Improve processes and reduce non-value-added activities.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed per schedule.
• Implement corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, etc.
• Evaluate training needs and ensure workforce is effectively utilized.
