Job summary

Novo Health Services, LLC in Rockmart, GA is seeking a Dryer to support our linen management operations in a healthcare setting. You will place soiled items in the dryers, set temperatures and cycles, and move finished items to the tumble fold area, ensuring timely processing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Place soiled items in dryers and select appropriate settings.
• Deliver dried items to the tumble fold area per workflow.
• Secure slings/carts and transport them to required areas.
• Load dryers according to item-specific formulas and monitor cycles.
• Remove finished items and route to appropriate basket or area.
• Adhere to quality standards for washed and dried items.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.

Position Summary

The Dryer is responsible for placing soiled items in the dryers and setting the dryers to appropriate settings. Attendants will then remove items and deliver them to the tumble fold area.

Essential Functions

• Secure slings/carts full of soiled items.
• Bring the slings to the hoist area.
• Bring carts to dryer area.
• Load the dryers and program them based on the individual formula for the item.
• Remove items from the dryer.
• Place other items in a basket and deliver them to the appropriate area.
• Adhere to quality standards in terms of washed and dried items.
• Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
