Job summary

Anchor Fabrication Fort Worth is seeking a CNC Machinist Level 1 to produce machined parts on a CNC Mill or Lathe while meeting customer specifications and productivity targets. The role requires reading blueprints, operating machinery, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced fabrication shop.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of CNC experience, with strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience operating CNC Mill or Lathe in a production environment.
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC Mill or Lathe with proper tooling.

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts using a CNC Mill or Lathe to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Follow Anchor safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Complete paperwork and traveler allocations and first part tags.
• Set up machine and tooling for each job and verify settings.
• Use overhead crane to move material and finished parts; deburr with handheld grinder.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in 5S initiatives.

Position Summary:The CNC Machinist Level 1’s role is to produce machine parts on a CNC Mill or Lathe, meeting or exceeding customer specs and productivity requirements by reading blueprints and ensuring correct machine settings.
