Job summary

Dynabrade, Inc. in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machine Maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our production machinery, primarily CNC lathes, mills and grind operations.

You will help design and maintain PM schedules and perform regular maintenance and inspections. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of diagnosing and repairing machine tools, read engineering drawings, and show strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years diagnosing and repairing machine tools (CNC Lathes and Mills) or equivalent experience.
• Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Must possess a high level of mechanical ability and aptitude.
• Experience with Fanuc controls a plus.
• Experience with Robots / Cobots a plus.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and work with others.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work well under deadlines.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for all production and facilities equipment.
• Perform all preventative maintenance for facilities and production equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs on production and facilities equipment (Mechanical and Electrical).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machinery malfunctions.
• Design, fabricate, replace, or adapt parts as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area.

Summary: The CNC Machine Maintenance technician will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our production machinery (primarily CNC lathes, mills and grind operations), and facilities equipment. The CNC Machine Maintenance technician's responsibilities will also include helping to design and maintain PM schedules and performing regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all production and facilities equipment. The ideal candidate should have good troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail.
