Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings under Berkshire Hathaway, seeks a Cleaner to handle all aspects of railcar cleaning, including inspection and maintenance of cleaning equipment. The role requires entering confined spaces with PPE, cleaning interiors, and adhering to Tactical Cleaning procedures while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter confined spaces wearing movement and sight restricting PPE with limited lighting to clean.
• Clean interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.
• Inspect clean railcars interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 feet off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.

Job Description

We are looking for a Cleaner that will be responsible for all aspects of Railcar cleaning including the inspection, care and maintenance of equipment used in the cleaning process.
