Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a full-time 1st shift Burn Table Operator in Fort Wayne, IN to operate burn table, brake press and plasma cutting equipment, ensuring precise metal parts production.

Candidate should have 2–3 years of fabrication experience, be able to read blueprints and tape measures, and be comfortable with forklift/crane material handling and a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating burn tables, brake presses, or similar machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures.
• Forklift and crane experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a physically demanding, dirty environment.
• Willingness to work occasional Fridays and weekends for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts using cranes or forklifts
• Operate burn table, brake press, and torch cutting equipment
• Cut, clean, align, and shape metal components per blueprints or diagrams
• Read and interpret tape measures, sketches, and technical drawings
• Maintain equipment and follow all safety guidelines
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
