Job summary

QuikCut LLC is seeking a brake press operator to join our Fab Shop team in the United States. You will work alongside the brake press team to form a wide variety of products from steel, aluminum and stainless-steel plates.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning layouts, programming the machine, measuring final pieces, restocking materials, and performing routine maintenance. You will also inspect finished products for quality and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings from designers and engineers.
• Read and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Program the brake press machine to fit the design.
• Measure final products to ensure they meet the blueprint specifications.
• Restock materials and organize completed materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on the brake press and log it.
• Operate brake press to manufacture tools and other components from sheet metal.
• Inspect products for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
