Job summary

Hoffer Plastics Corporation is hiring Assembly Technicians for the 1st shift (8:00am–4:00pm). Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience. This role involves machine setup, process parameter input, and adhering to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to successfully complete the "C" level Assembly Technician training requirements.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. on a semi-regular basis.
• Ability to stand / walk for an entire eight-hour shift.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts in accordance with internal and external customer requirements, including machine setup, auxiliary equipment setup and process parameter input.
• Keep a neat and orderly work area to 5S standards, follow safety policies, and use company production software at computer terminals.
• Roles for Level C/B/A involve completing training curriculums, performing setup changes, documenting logs, and troubleshooting to meet production demands.
• Enter daily production data into IQMS and stay current with new technology in assembly and robotics.
• Assist with quality checks and collaborate with supervisors to improve productivity and reduce scrap.
