Aerotek in Richmond, VA is seeking a 1st shift Assembler to perform fast-paced, engineered-to-order assembly tasks. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, lift up to 60 lbs, and work with a team on sub-assemblies and final products.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or production environments.
• Comfort with repetitive lifting and fast-paced work.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and blueprints.
• High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent employment conversion.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
• Operate an overhead crane.
• Participate in fast-paced production and assembly tasks.
• Lift 60lbs+ to fit product together efficiently.
• Work with a team member to fulfill product orders daily.
• Perform lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.
