Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• K-12 lead teaching experience is a plus.
• Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools is a plus.
• Hold NY teacher certification or working toward certification is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality Common Core aligned lesson plans.
• Analyze and regularly review student assessment data to drive curricular and pedagogical choices.
• Maximize learning time through effective classroom management.
• Provide an inviting, engaging learning environment with varied instructional techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching practices and ensure curricular coherence.
• Engage families through intentional relationship building and ongoing communication.
