Job summary

BMW Group in Mountain View, CA, invites outstanding master's students to join the Purchasing Digital Services team for Spring 2027 through Summer 2027. This internship focuses on supporting strategic purchasing and contract setup in a hybrid office environment.

You will conduct market research, prepare management presentations, arrange partner meetings, and help organize events while gaining exposure to SAP and vendor negotiations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
• Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.
• Prior BMW Group experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the strategic purchasing processes of the BMW Technology Office USA within Digital Services.
• Set up contracts with partners (e.g. NDAs, Evaluation, Cooperation).
• Strategic preparations of negotiations.
• Arrange and prepare partner meetings.

• Setting up of various contracts with partners (e.g. Non-Disclosure Agreements, Evaluation Agreements, Cooperation Contracts).
• Strategic preparations of negotiations.
• Arranging and preparing partner meetings.
• Conducting market research.
• Preparation of management presentations.
• Organizing and supporting the execution of events.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

• Field of Study: Business Administration, International Management, Technology or other related fields.
• Business fluent English, German beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Attributes: Conscientious, reliable, responsible, self-motivated, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, outside the box thinking.
• Preference:
  • Experience in SAP.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This is a hybrid role that requires in office days at the Mountain View, CA office.

Undergraduate students: Hourly rate is $32.50.
Graduate students: Hourly rate is $40.00.
