Job summary

BAMSI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Holliston, MA nursing team. This on-site role offers 16 hours per week with Fri/Sat 4p-12a, and a hourly salary of $32–$35, with a focus on medication oversight, crisis intervention, and adherence to MAP.

You will work in community-based group homes serving adults with complex medical needs, providing direct care, training staff, and ensuring safety and compliance while embracing BAMSI's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion,

What You’ll Do:

As aNurse,you’ll become an essential part of our community-based group homes for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and/or mental illness. Our homes house 3-8 individuals each providing an opportunity to build relationships with those that you care for and their families.

• Medical & Medication Oversight - Manage medical care and medications for persons served, including training staff on safe medication practices in compliance with DPH Medication Administration Program (MAP).
• Crisis Intervention - Respond to emergencies and de-escalate crises with persons served.
• Staff Training - Train staff on health/safety rules and document incidents as required.
• Compliance - Keep programs up to date with medical and medication laws, including paperwork and inspections.

What You Bring:

• Required:Active LPN license in MA, driver’s license, and reliable car.
• Preferred: Active RN license in MA, driver's license, and reliable car.
• Experience:Supporting mental health needs (personal or professional).
• Skills:Clear communication, basic computer use, and teamwork.
• Language:Must be fluent in English, Multilingual a bonus!
