Job summary

Schnucks Markets, Inc. in Frontenac, MO is seeking a center store clerk to provide friendly service, stock and rotate products in dairy, frozen, and grocery departments, and support warehouse inbound processes. Training provided at store level.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, reading shelf tags, operating a hand jack and baler, following safety guidelines, and meeting productivity standards in a cold environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand 4–8 hours is required.

DUTIES:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Bending
• Stooping
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours)

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates:minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
