Job summary

Schnucks in Godfrey, IL is seeking part-time team members to provide friendly, reliable service at the bakery/grocery counter. You will assist customers, stock displays, bake and wrap items, and ensure clean, safe work areas in accordance with company procedures.

The role includes training at store level, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 4-8 hours, and potential for internal advancement. Compensation ranges from $15.10 to $16.50 per hour, with benefits and teammate discounts for eligible

Responsibilities

• Process incoming products from bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors.
• Package fresh-baked products and slice/wrap bread.
• Stock product displays, rotate stock, and straighten displays.
• Prepare out-dated product for thrift stores and order decorated cakes.
• Bake cookies and maintain clean, safe work area per procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.

• Assist customers with product selections, including suggestive selling
• Process incoming products from bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors
• Package fresh-baked products
• Slice and wrap fresh baked bread
• Stock product displays in cases and on shelves
• Rotate product and straighten displays
• Prepare out-dated product for the thrift stores
• Order decorated cakes from the bakery plant
• Bake cookies
• Constant cleaning of work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation procedures
• Other duties will be assigned at the discretion of the store management

Training

Training will be provided at store level.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements

• Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Compensation

Compensation Pay Range: $15.10 - $16.50
