Job summary

Barron Service Parts Company, an NAPA Auto and Truck Parts group, is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of goods along predetermined routes and to provide excellent customer service to customers. Training is provided for motivated applicants.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a valid license, a clean driving record, and willingness to undergo drug testing and a background check. The position is full-time and based in Snyder, TX.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Review orders prior to delivery and ensure accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and properly maintain company vehicle(s).
• Provide exceptional customer service to our client base.
• Follow routes and time schedules and report maintenance issues.

Description

Our industry leading company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. of merchandise
• Properly maintain company vehicle(s) and take the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues
• Ensure that company vehicle(s) are kept clean and presentable
• Must be able to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
