Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a part-time Store Associate to support customer service and store operations. This role requires availability 6am-10pm and weekends, with 20-25 hours per week.

You will provide friendly service, maintain floors, operate cleaning equipment, handle trash, windows, break rooms and restrooms, follow safety procedures, and assist with general duties as assigned. Training is provided at the store level; Schnucks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours).
• Bending and stooping may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Maintain floors by scrubbing, stripping, polishing, and re-glossing.
• Operate scrub and buffing machines.
• Empty trash inside and outside the store.
• Clean windows.
• Clean break rooms, restrooms, and manager’s office.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare linens for laundry pick-up.
• Change light bulbs.
• Other duties may be assigned by store management.

Job Description Candidates MUST be available between 6am - 10pm. Weekends required to be considered. This role is offering 20-25 hours per week. This is not official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform.

DUTIES:

• Operation of scrub machine and buffing machine
• Empty trash inside and outside the store
• Clean windows
• Clean break rooms, restrooms, and manager’s office
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Prepare linens for laundry pick-up
• Change light bulbs
• Other duties will be assigned at the discretion of the store management

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
