Job summary

Schnucks in Missouri is seeking a part-time retail teammate to join our store team. This role offers 16–20 hours per week with availability 8am–5pm and weekends. You will provide friendly service, bag groceries, and assist customers in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided at store level. The position requires reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and 4–8 hour shifts on foot. Schnucks promotes from within and offers teammate discounts after qualifying period.

Candidates MUST be available between 8am - 5pm and weekends to be considered. This role is offering 16-20 hours per week. This is not an official description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform.

DUTIES

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Bending Stooping Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time Able to work outside in seasonal weather Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.

Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
