Per Mar Security Services is hiring Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers in Pittsboro, Indiana. The role offers $18.07 per hour with a Monday–Friday 2PM–10PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Staff the facility’s single point of entry, verify vehicle passes, and issue visitor passes
• Provide directions and maintain a secure environment by preventing unauthorized access
• Monitor the weather alert system and track open confined spaces
• Serve as liaison between the fire department and SDI personnel when necessary
• Desk-type security greeting all visitors, employees, contractors, and truck drivers as they enter the facility
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

MUST have a valid driver's license.

MUST HAVE COMPUTER EXPERIENCE Including but not limited to typing and math skills, Microsoft Word, excel, and outlook.

The position requires you to be standing/walking for extended periods of time.
