Job summary

DTK inc in the United States is seeking Day Porters to keep facilities clean during business hours, handling quick cleaning tasks and responding to immediate needs as they arise.

You will act as a point of contact for building users, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, emptying trash, and cleaning windows. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; healthcare and safety guidelines followed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with customer service.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and repeated movements.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Unlike evening or night janitorial staff, Day Porters are responsible for maintaining the building’s cleanliness during business hours, handling quick cleaning tasks, and responding to immediate needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for facility users for cleaning and maintenance needs.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, etc.
• Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors) and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Other duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For
