Job summary

LogicSource is seeking a temp Analyst Strategic Sourcing – IT for our Client Services team, dedicated to a retail client. You will work with IT stakeholders, manage category reporting, and support supplier diversity initiatives.

This role involves close collaboration with the Client Services team on data-driven sourcing activities. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of analytical experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to translate data into

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, economics or accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in analysis, financial and/or operational reporting roles.
• IT analysis experience including software, hardware, telecom, cyber security, data centers, SaaS, etc. preferred.
• Fluent with reporting systems, internet research, and general forms of technical infrastructure.
• Proficient at Excel/financial analysis and planning.
• Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Exposure to strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, make sound business decisions, and find hidden opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and produce meaningful interpretations and actionable results from spend tools (One Market Insights) and other client data.
• Provide procurement and analytical support to Indirect Procurement team.
• Collaborate with the Client’s internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis.
• Track, monitor and report on delivery of savings targets.
• Support development of Quarterly Business Reviews including analytics to report on sourcing progress and savings results.
• Deliver ongoing analytical support to Category Directors including analyzing root cause analysis, cost pattern analysis, SRM development, supplier score carding, and total cost reviews.

Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a temp Analyst Strategic Sourcing – IT on our Client Services team dedicated to a retail client. Core responsibilities include working closely with business stakeholders across IT, managing category reporting (spend, savings, lead times, and supplier management), and supporting supplier diversity programming. This role will also act as a conduit to our Client Services team.

Responsibilities:

Pay Range

$60,000—$100,000 USD
