Job summary

Schnucks in O'Fallon, MO is seeking a friendly bagger to provide fast, courteous service at the checkout area. This part-time role offers 16–20 hours per week, with shifts up to 10pm and weekend availability.

You will bag groceries, assist customers to their cars, stock bags, and help keep aisles clean. Training is store-based; prior Schnucks experience not required.

Qualifications

• Must be available for 16–20 hours per week and able to work until 10pm, including weekends.
• Able to carry and bag groceries, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Bag groceries and place bags in carts or for transport to vehicles.
• Stock bags at check stands and keep checkout area tidy.
• Sweep, mop floors, and return merchandise to shelves as needed.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

Job Description This bagger position is for our O'Fallon Schnucks location at: 8660 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, O'Fallon, MO 63366 Candidates MUST be available till 10pm and weekends to be considered. This role is offering 16-20 hours per week. This is not an official description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform.

You could expect the position of a customer service person to include the following:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management

Training

Training will be provided at store level.

Physical Demands

Bending Stooping Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time Able to work outside in seasonal weather Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements

Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
