Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Medical Assistant to work alongside our nursing team in the clinic and short-term treatment setting. You will gather vital signs and document medical histories while helping with admissions and ongoing care.

In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with nurses, medical providers and internal teams to ensure high-quality support. A trauma-informed, person-centered approach is encouraged, with cross-training across programs to broaden skills and impact.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Preferences: Bilingual a plus.
  • 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • License/Certifications: Medical Assistant Certificate from CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NRCMA/NAHP.
