Job summary

DTK Facility Services in Texas is seeking Day Porters to maintain cleanliness and functionality during business hours in various facilities. You will be responsible for quick cleaning tasks and responding to immediate needs to ensure a welcoming environment.

We value bilingual English/Spanish abilities; prior cleaning experience is helpful but not required. This on-site role requires reliability, physical stamina, and a professional demeanor in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent customer service skills.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and repeated movements in a typical work shift.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for facility users for cleaning and maintenance needs.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, etc.
• Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors) and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners.

• Other duties as needed.

Unlike evening or night janitorial staff, Day Porters are responsible for maintaining the building’s cleanliness during business hours, handling quick cleaning tasks, and responding to immediate needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for facility users for cleaning and maintenance needs.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, etc.
• Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors) and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Other duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
